The Protect-A-Grid™ is an all enclosed polycarbonate Lexan fabrication designed to reduce the chance of incidental grid damage from atypical handling. With sleek designs and curved corners, Protect-A-Grids can be easily slid under patients and/or stood upright for cross-table examinations. Depending on staff preferences, we have engineered three different styles of Protect-A-Grids: Grid Cap, with Channels, and Encasement. Protect-A-Grid Grid Caps drop over your cassettes. Protect-A-Grid with Channels allow cassettes to slide into the grid fabrication — and now fit into most portable cassette drawers. Our Encasement style seals the grid between two sheets of Lexan™ plastic (for tape-on applications).
Protect-A-Grid 2™ - The lighter approach to grid protection.
The second generation of Protect-A-Grid boasts a thinner, lighter-weight construction. Made from a combination of aluminum and vinyl, the Protect-A-Grid 2™ protects your grid from incidental bumps, scratches, or contaminants that could occur in the field. Depending on staff preferences, this product is also made to order with three different designs; Grid Cap, with Channels, or Encasement.
